Biography

Muhammad Imran Qureshi is a leading Pakistani contemporary artist who has revitalised the ancient tradition of miniature painting by bringing it into conversation with contemporary art. His large-scale installations and paintings have been exhibited at the Documenta and Venice Biennale, earning him global recognition. He was awarded the Sitara-e-Imtiaz in 2020 for his outstanding contributions to Pakistani fine arts and his role in putting Pakistani art on the world stage.
